Linda Rose – Managing Partner
As the founder of four companies over her career, Linda Rose is a seasoned Consultant with more than 30 years of success across management consulting, cloud computing, SaaS, and financial services.
Leveraging her personal experience buying and selling her four companies (sold two for all cash), her past career as a CPA, and her knowledge as author of “Get Acquired for Millions: A Roadmap for Technology Service Providers to Maximize Company Value,” Linda offers guidance as a sell-side M&A advisor on preparing for the most important transaction of your life, your company sale. In her role as an advisor, she has been responsible for:
- Providing multiple offers for her clients (as many as 12 signed offers for one client)
- Creating over $100M+ in enterprise value for her clients
- Increasing existing offers (signed LOIs) by 50%
- A 95% or better close rate on all transactions she manages
- Creating the M&A Academy, which offers a monthly membership for those looking to continue their knowledge around M&A, as well as an in-depth course, Ready…Set…SELL, for those wanting a more thorough understanding of the M&A process
When she is not taking a company to market, writing, or speaking, she enjoys the great outdoors of Oregon, Southern California, and Kauai, either hiking, biking, skiing, or kayaking.
Stephen Wolford – M&A Advisor
As a former Managing Partner of a multiple cloud solution business technology practice and a former Operating Partner focused on growing enterprise value for technology solutions and services companies, Stephen Wolford has over 25 years of execution experience leading and working with LMM technology companies to optimize enterprise value ahead of an exit.
While building his practice and advising other tech companies following his exit, Stephen has been consistently able to:
- Identify and exploit recurring revenue opportunities
- Consistently grow core revenue while increasing gross margin
- Establish customer retention and ACV as THE top revenue priority
- Define and implement growth-centric data tools and practices
Stephen understands the practice disciplines that directly impact enterprise value. Coupled with his insight into the most recent valuations in the market, Stephen can help prioritize company initiatives ahead of an M&A event.
When he is not geeking out on operating metrics and process automation, Stephen is likely bike riding in the local mountains, rehabbing injuries from the last ride, or volunteering at the many community events in downtown San Jose.
Katie Spokely – Project Manager/Marketing Director
Not long after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Marketing degree from the Carlson School of Management Honors Program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, Katie Spokely joined RoseBiz. Her responsibilities have grown alongside the organization as she has helped owners plan, prepare for, and execute their most valuable company sale.
In her role at RoseBiz, Katie:
- Manages buyer outreach, data rooms, and deal progress for sellers
- Creates attractive & effective Blind Profiles & CIMs for sellers
- Develops, promotes, and helps manage educational resources, including those for the Ready..Set…SELL course and the M&A Academy Monthly Membership
- Coordinates communications and marketing activities across multiple channels
Katie is passionate about making it easy, accessible, and even enjoyable for owners to become more confident in the world of M&A and achieve their most valuable transactions. When working with sellers, she helps execute an organized, effective process so that the right buyer with the right offer can be found in the right timeline.
When Katie is not fine-tuning materials, you can find her preparing for her next acting audition or role, cooking up something new in the kitchen, or embarking on her next art project.
