How long will I have access to the content? Will the course expire?

I encourage you to dive into the course immediately so you can begin to understand the necessary steps to sell your company. Because this process to fully plan and prepare for an exit can take as long as 2-3 years, you have access to the course materials for three years from the date of enrollment to access the course. This means you will have ample time to work your way through the modules or come back to them at a later date to renew and refresh.

My time is limited, how much time will I need to set aside each week for the content?

The great thing about Ready…Set…SELL is it is a go-at-your-own-pace course; it will differ for everyone. The entire course is delivered to you at once. Some students start at the beginning, others jump to a particular module or lesson that is most meaningful to them at this moment. It’s completely up to you. I recommend you listen to the module once or twice first, and then spend time reviewing the resources and doing the work where needed.

How is the content delivered?

Each module includes a direct overview from me, and then we head into some slides to explain the content in more detail. You will also gain access to handouts and other resources to help you review and apply the topics. All recorded coffee hour question and answer sessions will be saved in each module of the course.

What if I have questions? How will those get answered?

I would be surprised if you didn’t have questions, which is why we have set up weekly Bonus Coaching sessions on Thursday mornings. If you cannot make the session due to schedule, not to worry. Send in your question in advance and listen to the recording that will be posted in that module. I cover a specific module/topic each week. You will always have access to the latest recordings if you miss a live session.

I don’t plan on selling my business for at least three years! Is it too soon to take this course?

Great question, and I wish more people would ask it. To truly prepare and plan for an exit, it really takes about 3+ years. Not everyone has that much time because they may have a pending offer or want to sell sooner. But if you really want to maximize the value of your company and do everything we suggest in this course, we think 2 – 3 years before you sell is the perfect time to learn this content.

Can another owner in my organization take the course as well? Do we need to pay for it twice?

Yes, we can grant separate access to another owner of the company. But we ask that you limit access to owners only. This content is NOT meant for your entire team or your management team. It is really geared toward owners, and we recognize there may be more than one. We do, however, reserve the right to terminate your access if we feel that this is being shared outside of your company.

Do you have a refund policy?

Yes of course, we want you to be 100% happy. You will be given a 14-day period in which to ask for a refund once you receive access to the course, so be sure to log in and get started. You will need to demonstrate that you have reviewed modules and taken specific quizzes in order to receive a refund, that way we know you have spent enough time to really decide if this isn’t for you.

Do you have a payment plan?

No, our students are CEOs and owners of small to medium size businesses, so we don’t feel a payment plan is necessary or required, plus the accounting department never likes payment plans anyway – just another thing for them to track.

What if I want to buy a company or two before I sell. Can I still get value out of this course?

Well, as you know, every buyer, will also eventually sell. But, more immediately, buyers get so much value out the course as well, because the M&A process is the same for both: both buyers and sellers work with the same documents, terms, deal structures, due diligence and much more. As a buyer, you are at a considerable advantage since you know now what is required and what to look out for in sellers. In short, it will make you a savvier buyer as well!

About Me: Linda Rose

As a CEO, I learned the hard way and made many mistakes selling my companies; now, I make sure my clients don’t make those same mistakes.

I have helped companies from $1M to $80M successfully navigate the challenges of putting their company on the market without letting their employees, customers, vendors and, most importantly, competitors know that they are entertaining multiple offers.
